If you’re feeling burnt out, disconnected and unfulfilled, you’re not alone. If you’re trying to live spiritually and compassionately, but still feel impatient, unsatisfied and a little empty inside, I totally get it. So did I.
I was completely lost and deeply unhappy. I had no idea who I was and terrified someone would uncover the deep insecurities I carefully stuffed behind a fake show of confidence. A ‘skip in your step’ came easily to some folks, but not me. I trudged and spun and stumbled.
I wondered when my time would come to feel confident and blissfully happy. Then, my mother reminded me that depression ran in the family and I’d likely be fairly miserable for the rest of my life. Every part of me raged in defiance. A dreary existence of suffering and misery was absolutely unacceptable.
The result? I dedicated my life to figuring out how to be… well, not-so-miserable. Happiness seemed like a farfetched dream I dared not attempt. After years of intense inner exploration, humility and healing, life started to feel not so bad. I had done it. But I couldn’t stop there… what if true happiness and fulfillment was possible? I went further into myself and explored the metaphysical facets of existence. Massive energetic and paradigm shifts led to increased harmony and joyfulness. I began helping others find their way, as I had found mine. Happiness was no longer unattainable. It was here now.
You can experience the transformation from blah to hurrah too! I’m going to lay out the six-steps to take you from burnt out to blissful. Together, we’ll build the essential foundation for a truly meaningful and happy life. Ready?! Let’s start right now with these very important points:

Enough with the guilt, self-punishment and worthiness issues! Take my word for it, there is absolutely nothing you’ve done that is unforgivable to Spirit. You are good, worthy and lovable down to your very core, exactly as you are right now. You deserve to be happy. (Big hugs!)
- You’ve been looking for happiness in the wrong places.
You mistakenly believe this flawed equation: When I achieve that, THEN I’ll be content and satisfied. As a result, you think happiness is just beyond the next accomplishment, pay increase, or gadget you buy… that you’ll feel happy when you travel more, have a different relationship, or rock a better bod. You’ve likely heard that happiness in an inside job, but no one has explained to you WHY this is energetically true and HOW fulfillment works.

Step 1: Acknowledge the feeling something’s missing.
What’s fueling this deep seated need to consume? The answer is not overtly obvious. It’s a nondescript feeling of emptiness. It’s hard to even put our finger on it. It may be easier to identify by saying we don’t feel whole, while some people feel this inner black hole acutely and painfully.
Step 2: Recognize how you got here.
We need two forms of nutrients to thrive. One is physical: food. And the other is energetic: love. Although we were taught how to feed ourselves, we weren’t taught how to give ourselves love. That left us to assume we could only get this essential nutrient from outside ourselves. As our inner void grew larger, we mistakenly attempted to heal it with external sources.
Step 3: Embrace love energy.
Unhappiness isn’t a physical-world problem. It’s an energetic one. The real issue is that we are low in love energy. It can’t be seen and and it doesn’t come up in any diagnostic tests, but we can FEEL it. Or rather, the lack of it. When we take responsibility for creating our own love energy, we hold our happiness in our hands.
Step 4: Follow your highest good.
If we want the most direct way to increase our love energy levels, we need to embrace our highest good. Our highest good is our own personal North Star. It’s a shining light connecting us to our soul that guides us towards wisdom, inner peace and our divine purpose.
Step 5: Identify the areas that need nurturing.
To rapidly increase our love energy levels we need to move in the direction of our highest good in four general areas. These are our four bodies and how our love energy is delivered throughout our system. If our bodies are unhealthy or imbalanced, our love energy flow is diminished and we feel pretty rotten. However, by moving in the direction of our highest good, we create healthy, balanced bodies and allow our love energy flow to be abundant, consistent and sustainable. Then we feel happy to be alive and full of energy!
Step 6: Adopt a self-loving lifestyle.
Just like we need food everyday, we need love energy every day. To do this we may need to upgrade our way of being to a self-loving lifestyle. When we do so, we stop looking to others for approval or acceptance. We feel more comfortable in our own skin and appreciate our physical body. We set healthy boundaries and authentically express ourselves. We feel more inner peace and balance, no matter what life throws our way. Without even trying, we attract love-filled, uplifting relationships and friendships. And once we find our groove, it’s surprisingly easy and fun to maintain!
